I will overwhelm 'credible combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
